What is VISIA Skin Analysis?
VISIA is a technology that is used to help identify minor skin problems like wrinkles or enlarged pores. Using it helps our team better tailor the appropriate treatment for the client’s skin.
VISIA is basically a digital imaging system that takes pictures of the client’s face. It then analyzes the skin based on eight criteria: texture, spots, reddened areas, wrinkles, pores, brown spots, UV spots, and porphyrins. It will compare the client’s skin to that of other clients of the same age and skin type. VISIA produces the results immediately, so there is no waiting at home for them. The client will then consult with our skincare professional at Vimi Laser & Skincare Clinic about the best treatments.
What is a Facial?
A facial at Vimi Laser & Skincare Clinic is a multi-step treatment designed to exfoliate, hydrate, nourish and rejuvenate the skin. The esthetician will start by thoroughly cleansing the skin. If the client is new, they will also examine and analyze their skin to determine its type (dry, normal, oily or combination), and they will look for problems like blackheads or discoloration. They will recommend the type of facials and skincare products based on their examination.
The esthetician will then use a machine that emits steam to soften any whiteheads or blackheads to be extracted. After that, they will exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin cells and unveil healthy and smooth skin. The next step may be the extraction of blackheads and whiteheads followed by a facial massage. The esthetician can then apply a facial mask tailored to the client’s skin type.
